How to Play the Sea Hunter Slot
Sea Hunter is a lively underwater-themed slot, developed by Play’n Go. It has three reels and five paylines, which may not seem like much but, believe us, the bonuses can be very generous. Bets start at a minimum of 5p a spin and can be increased up to £100 maximum, so there is a bet level for all kinds of players. The Sea Hunter slot is the type of casino game where the more you win, the more you are rewarded. Get your goggles on and dive in for some deep-sea fun. Good luck!
There are many familiar sea creatures on the reels but, beware, this isn’t any old relaxed ocean-inspired slot. Spot the sirens to either side of the reels with the cannons attached; these are the gateway to the bonus features. For once, sirens mean that good things are a-coming to your Sea Hunter slot experience. This slot is certainly some-fin you won’t forget in a hurry!
‘Plaice’ Your Bet
All of the five paylines are fixed, meaning that they will be in play with every single spin of the reels. You don’t have to do anything to sort the paylines before you play; all you need to do is decide on the value of your stake per spin. The minimum value is 5p and can be increased in small increments, up to a maximum of £100 a spin, so you can choose a stake to suit you.
This is all you need to decide on. Once you’ve chosen your bet amount, hit the green spin button and watch as the sea creatures swim around the reels.
The Hierarchy of Sea Creatures
Each creature has its own value, and you will need to match three identical sea creatures all the way along a payline to win. Bear in mind that a payline in the Sea Hunter slot only covers three reels, so it may not be as difficult as it sounds.
The blue whale with the pattern around its eyes that looks like a flame tattoo, is worth the most. A trio of whales across a payline, while you wouldn’t want to cross them is deep-sea diving alone, can actually pay out up to 15 times your stake!
Another tattooed creature is the orange octopus. Three of these eight-legged shiny creatures across a payline can award you up to 10 times your bet amount.
Next in the rankings is the purple stingray. Luckily, instead of getting stung by this guy, you could end up getting six times your stake for a trio along a payline.
The turtle is the last of the higher-value creatures in the Sea Hunter slot, offering top pay-outs of four times your bet for a winning match.
Lower-value sea creatures, surprisingly, include the stripy one, the clownfish, jellyfish and the pufferfish. Scary though the latter two may be, you could be looking at 0.4 to two times your stake for a win with these little fellas.
Cast your Net for Some Bonuses
Wild
A common feature which can substitute for any of the standard symbols to create or extend a winning payline, the wild in the Sea Hunter slot is a big golden sphere of some kind.
A trio of these could also award you 25 times your stake, should you have an ultra-lucky landing.
Cannons
You will notice the cannons on each side of the reels. They have meters, which, when filled to a certain level, can award you extra bonuses.
The way these cannons work is that the more consecutive wins you land, the bigger the bonus gets.
Different cannon features can be activated from two consecutive wins upwards.
Cannon One: Growth Gun
The first feature is the Growth Gun. This is activated if you have two consecutive wins.
One random symbol will be chosen and upgraded to the next highest symbol in the hierarchy, meaning there is more value on the reels and potential to make a win.
Cannon Two: Sticky Shot
After four consecutive wins, you could trigger this cannon feature.
As well as one free spin, the cannon will shoot out a random symbol, and all matching symbols on the reel will stick in place for the extra re-spin.
Cannon Three: Wild Warhead
If you manage to land five consecutive wins, the cannon will randomly fire between one and three wild symbols out onto the reels and, hopefully, let them work their magic.
Cannon Four: Multiply Mortar
After a whopping six consecutive wins, the multiply mortar feature will be triggered.
You will get one free spin and are guaranteed an explosive win as well as a random multiplier!
Sea Hunter Slot Verdict
This game is unique, in that it appears as though it may feature sea creatures going about their business when, in fact, the bonus cannons become the main attraction. The sirens attached to the meters make a very unusual setting and atmosphere for this game, but magically, it works.
The fact that you get rewarded for winning is a nice touch, and the different levels of bonus make it accessible to all.
Return to Player (RTP) of the Sea Hunter slot is 96.63% which is fairly good.
