Double Xposure is a variation of Blackjack, developed by NetEnt. There are no reels or paylines as it is a table game, but the theoretical Return to Player (RTP) is 99.33%. Play a game of Blackjack where you can see both of the dealer’s cards, giving you an advantage of what you’re up against when your cards are dealt. All wins are paid out at 1 to 1.
This is a sophisticated affair, with a soft soundtrack to help you keep your cool. Laid out like the tables we would see if we were in a land-based casino, this double exposure blackjack game is a taste of the classic casino games. Double Xposure is played with 6 decks of cards.
Place your Bet
Getting set up to play is pretty easy. If you’re new to table games, you’ll be playing with chips, rather than setting up a bet as you would with slots. The chips are displayed in different colours at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen in denominations of 1, 5, and 10.
You can play up to three hands at once and can bet individually on each hand.
For the number of hands you wish to play, place your bets in the boxes.
To do so, click on the chip value you want to bet, and then click in the boxes. To increase your bet, click again. You will see the value of the bet for each hand just below the chips so you can keep track.
If you decide to change your bet or remove a hand, click on the grey chip with an ‘x’ in, and then click on the chips to remove them.
How to Win
Once you have placed your chips, click the green Deal button to be dealt your cards. The dealer will deal you two cards face up for each hand you’re playing, as well as their own two cards. Thanks to the beauty of double exposure blackjack, you will see both of the dealer’s cards face up, too.
You will play each hand individually against the dealer, so you will be given the option to either ‘Hit’ or ‘Stand’ with each hand.
Bear in mind, the dealer has to try and get a hand of 17 or higher, and you need to beat the dealer to win.
You can ‘Hit’ as many times as you want in the quest to reach 21, but if your hand goes beyond that number, you will go bust.
Blackjack
A Blackjack will consist of an Ace and a 10-value card. If you get 21 with another selection of cards, you may still win, but it won’t be a blackjack.
Double Down
If the initial two cards which you are dealt add up to a hard 9, 10 or 11 - without an Ace – then you can choose to Double Down.
A Double Down bet will double the initial bet, and you will be dealt one extra card. After this card is dealt, the hand will automatically stand, and you will play that hand with whatever you have been dealt.
Split
Should you be dealt two cards of the same value, you can choose to split them into two separate hands to be played independently of each other. If you split, you will double your initial bet as you will be spreading it across two hands.
In a split hand, an Ace and another card will be classed as just a 21 and not a Blackjack.
Prize Payouts
To keep things simple in Double Xposure, all payouts are 1 to 1.
This basically means that, as long as you have a hand that can beat the dealer’s, you can guarantee the same winnings, no matter how close the win is!
Keeping it Classy
For most players, Blackjack may just be Blackjack. In Double Xposure, being able to see both of the dealer’s cards could be a big help in deciding what to do with your cards. It feels as though we’re being let in on something special, having the power to see both cards.
Double exposure Blackjack is set up in the same way as standard Blackjack game. The table and chips are easy to navigate, and the design is slick and clean, just as you would expect from the real deal in a land-based casino. Your game is sound-tracked with some jazzy piano music, helping you to keep your cool while you play.
